COUNTRY Financial will host a Social Security seminar in three locations later this fall. The featured speaker will be Rick Morgan, Attorney and Senior Financial Security Consultant. In the spirit of the upcoming holiday season, the Bureau County Farm Bureau Young Leader Committee will be hosting a food drive to help those in need. The Bureau County Farm Bureau, along with Marshall-Putnam and Stark County Farm Bureaus will be hosting a College Open House Day for Agriculture on Wednesday, November 18th from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Birkey’s Farm Store in Henry. FOID Card Application Changes
*Due to the following change the Bureau County Farm Bureau will no longer be offering FOID card services. We apologize for any inconvience.*
The Illinois State Police (ISP) announced on March 6, 2015, the agency will now be accepting on-line FOID applications, to provide a more streamlined modernized application process. READ MORE

The new 2015 Bureau County Land Atlas and Plat Book is nowavailable for purchase through the Bureau County Farm Bureau. The new plat book is produced by Rockford Map Publishers, located in Rockford, IL. This is the 19th edition of the Bureau County Plat Book produced by Rockford Map Publishers since the first edition in 1952. READ MORE

The Bureau County Farm Bureau Young Leaders Committee has wrapped up its farm labor pool application period. This listing for Bureau County residents interested in full or part time agricultural related labor is has now been compiled.
