Winter Crops Meeting Scheduled

On Thursday, December 14, at 9:00 a.m. at the Bureau County Metro Center in Princeton and at 2:00 p.m. at the Annawan Community Center in Annawan, farmers and landowners looking to learn about changes coming to the 2018 Federal Crop Insurance Program, Margin Protection, Market Outlook and other ag topics will get their chance during a winter crop seminar.

 

COUNTRY Financial® the surrounding County Farm Bureaus are sponsoring this seminar to better equip farmers with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about potential changes coming to their operations.

 

Doug Yoder, COUNTRY Financial Crop Agency Manager will cover ARC-CO and PLC payments and the projections for the remainder of the farm bill. He will also discuss changes to crop insurance, including Margin Protection and UUF/Third Party.                        


Doug Dozier, COUNTRY Financial Crop Claims Supervisor will speak on APH certifications.

 

Dave Kunken, Grain Manager with FS Grain will provide a market outlook in Princeton and Mike Schaver, Gold Star FS Grain Merchandiser will provide a market outlook in Annawan.
