DESCRIPTION:Freezer Meal Pick up – Enjoy the ease of picking up 10 prepackaged meals to serve 3-5 people. All you need to do is thaw and reheat! A great way to save time on meal prep and support the Bureau County Farm Bureau Foundation. \nIt costs $175 and averages only $3.50 a person with each meal feeding 5 people. \nOrders and payment are due by March 13th. \nMENU:\nPulled Pork \nBBQ Pulled Chicken \nHickory Smoked Pork Loin \nTeriyaki Chicken \nSmoked Pork Chop Sandwiches \nChicken Bacon Ranch Pasta \nPulled Pork Mac & Cheese \nCowboy Casserole \nChicken and Biscuits \nLasagna \nMeals will be prepared\, packaged\, and frozen. Meals will be packaged in a sealed box for pickup and will need to be picked up at the Bureau County Farm Bureau on Monday\, April 3rd between 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. \nPre-registration is required by March 13th. Please call in your order to (815) 875-6468.  We will call before the delivery date to remind you of pick up.  Payment is required before delivery.

DESCRIPTION:Carey Portell to Headline Women in Agriculture Conference \nThe Women in Agriculture Conference committee is excited for the 2023\, Women in Agriculture Conference. Carey Portell will headline for the annual Women in Agriculture Conference in Rock Island on Friday\, March 24\, 2023. Portell is a survivor and a thriver\, but most importantly she is a mom\, wife\, neighbor\, and friend. She and her husband oversee a farm in mid-Missouri where she balances between speaking and cattle farming. Portell strives to motivate and inspire audiences\, encouraging them to break through limitations\, learn to believe in oneself\, and tap into their higher power as a source of inspiration. Her message will teach attendees to thrive despite challenges and arrive with an attitude of gratitude on their path to success. \nThe keynote will be followed by a variety of breakout sessions as well a buffet lunch. \nClosing out the conference is Amanda Radke. She is a fifth-generation rancher from Mitchell\, S.D. who has dedicated her career to serving as a voice for the nation’s farmers and ranchers. Radke regularly tackles industry issues as a columnist and speaker.  Radke challenges listeners to change their outlook in the face of great uncertainties to PIVOT. CONNECT.
